There are two ways to get admission to Delhi University M.com after graduation.
1. Direct admission on the basis of Merit.
2. Through Entrance Test

This course is for all those who are doing/ have done B.com (H)/ B.com(P)/B.M.S/B.B.S/B.B.A/B.B.A(F.I.A)/B.F.I.A and B.B.E and B.A (H) from Delhi University or any other university.

After getting admission to m.com, all the classes are held in the Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics throughout all the semesters irrespective of your college. The Department of Commerce is situated on the north campus (DU), next to Ramjas college. However, 15 colleges of Delhi university give admission to students in m.com. The students go to their respective colleges for tutorials and submission of their assignments only. The colleges are not authorized to conduct regular classes for M.com students.

There were around 7176 students who appeared for the entrance exam in 2019. In general, around 6000- 7000 students appear for this exam every year.

In total, there are around 700 seats in M.com (SOL) for students of all the categories. Out of which, 50% are reserved for entrance-based admissions and 50% are reserved for merit-based admissions. There is a common entrance exam for both regular and SOL students. Admissions are given on the basis of the ranks of the students.

No, they don’t take attendance in their regular classes. Therefore, students do other things along with M.com like CA, CS, UPSC preparation, etc. However, internal assessment is based on tutorials and assignments only. It is advisable to be regular in tutorial classes for getting good marks.
